When out with friends last weekend we were chatting over dinner when the conversation moved onto the subject of cars.

Now, I am actually a real minority as I am probably the only girl in our circle of friends who actually likes cars (not even my husband is interested in them)!  The conversation turned towards car leasing and how many of our friends are now actually leasing a car instead of buying a new one. Personally I am not sure whether I like the idea or not, think I need to look into it a little more!

Don’t get me wrong, I certainly have no objections to having a nice shiny new car sitting on my drive and showing it off to all the neighbours but am really not sure on the constant monthly outgoing.  But having said that, you do get many things included with the monthly payment and car leasing defintely seems the way forward.

We have friends that have their own business and whether its van or car leasing they need it works really well for them as they just offset the monthly leasing payment against the business every month.

So if I was to change my mind, I would need to get around a big obstacle first!  No it wouldn’t be what car to lease, but my husband!
